Graduate of EMU Pursues a Successful Career

Eastern Mediterranean University, Tourism Faculty, Recreational Management Department 2009 graduate Çağrı Ertuna is successfully employed as the director of Ertuna Home Electronics. Following his graduation from EMU, Ertuna first worked as a member of Arkın Palm Beach Hotel's accounting team and then went on to establish Ertuna Home Electronics firm.

Stating the importance of EMU in the development of his vision, Ertuna added that it is due to EMU's contributions and support that he is now successful. Putting forth that Famagusta has developed in line with EMU's development, Ertuna added that the demand towards his company has grown due to EMU's enlargement. Ertuna stated that the experience and skills he gained at EMU supports the customer relations in his current employment.

Ertuna added that EMU motivates students to become entrepreneurs and, at the same time, equips them with foreign language skills. Stating the benefits he has gained from communicating in English and German, Ertuna put forth that the education he received in EMU has had a positive impact on the collaborations he established with international companies.

As a member of the EMU family, Ertuna once again highlighted the importance of EMU both for the TRNC and Famagusta as it provides an array of possibilities for each member of the community.
