EMU Tourism and Hospitality Management Students are Going to America

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Tourism and Hospitality Management students will be receiving education in the United States of America (USA). As part of the agreements made within the scope of EMU’s internationalization programs Tourism and Hospitality Management students  Sina Vahedi and Taira Ibragimova will be completing the final year of their education at Virginia Tech University, home of the USA’s third best Hospitality and Tourism program.

3 Years at EMU, 1 Year at Virginia Tech University

The students will have completed the first three years of their education at EMU and their final year at Virginia Tech University. Iranian Sina Vahedi and Turkmen Taira Ibragimova were selected from hundreds of candidates to continue their education at Virginia Tech University in the 2019-2020 Academic Year. After completing the Tourism and Hospitality Management undergraduate program Sina Vahedi and Taira Ibragimova will gain the opportunity to attend the Hospitality and Tourism Management master’s program at Virginia Tech University.

Tourism Faculty Students can Benefit from this Opportunity

In a statement on the matter, EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that this outcome has made EMU proud and that their quality education has once again been substantiated.  Highlighting that Sina Vahedi and Taira Ibragimova’s achievements have inspired other students Prof. Dr. Kılıç noted that all successful EMU Tourism and Hospitality Management students can obtain this opportunity to attain new experiences in  the international arena.
