EMU Faculty of Tourism Doctoral Program Continues to Make a Difference

The doctoral program of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Tourism continues to make a difference with the education it provides. Since its foundation during the Fall Term of the 2011 – 2012 Academic Year, the EMU Faculty of Tourism, Tourism Management Doctoral Program has graduated many students who have worked with supervising academic staff members to publish articles in some of the most prestigious journals in the field. International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Employee Relations: The International Journal, Journal of Air Transport Management and The Service Industries Journal are only a few of these journals.

Prof. Dr. Osman Cankoy Delivered a Presentation

Atatürk Teacher Training Academy Academic Staff Member Prof. Dr. Osman Cankoy delivered a presentation on the importance of ‘Interdisciplinary’, ‘Multidisciplinary’ and ‘Transdisciplinary’ approaches to scientific research during Prof. Dr. Osman M. Karatepe’s doctoral course TOUR502 (Quantitative Research Methods) which he attended as a guest lecturer. The presentation touched upon how to approach tourism management together with topics other than tourism management in future research.
