EMU Tourism Faculty Graduates Start Work at The World Renowned Restaurant Group La Petite Maison

Graduates of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Gastronomy and Culinary Arts program have started working at the Abu Dhabi branch of the world renowned Restaurant Group La Petite Maison.

Releasing a statement on the matter, EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that their Gastronomy and Culinary Arts program graduates Gamze Kural and Hüseyin Akbulut have started working as chefs at the Abu Dhabi branch of La Petite Maison from September 2019.

Prof. Dr. Kılıç stated that this development is not a coincidence and that EMU Tourism Faculty graduates often find jobs at international businesses because of their academic competence and practical experience gained during their education. Prof. Dr. Kılıç also provided a reminder that six of their graduates are currently working full-time at another international Restaurant Group Coya.

“We are a Faculty with Strong International Collaborations”

Prof. Dr. Kılıç stated that the EMU Tourism Faculty has strong international collaborations which provide graduates with important international career opportunities. Prof. Dr. Kılıç concluded by highlighting that their faculty will continue to be in high demand as a result of new international collaborations in the fields of global tourism, hotel management and gastronomy.
